On the 1st of November, 2018, we knew the colors were near peak at Cades Cove, so our first stop was the John Oliver Cabin. As the sun rose, we captured one of the most multicolored scenes we had ever witnessed surrounding the cabin. In restrospect, in 2015, we spent the entire day at Cades Cove, with the John Oliver Cabin first on our list. After capturing hundreds of images, I, (Delia) accidentally formatted the memory card on my camera before I had the opportunity to download all I'd taken that day... hence the title. Unfortunately Matt didn't even get out his camera as he was busy helping me. You can bet that I won't make that same mistake twice! 🤦🏽♀️
